Connection of photocells
Connection of the garage light
Connection of the battery
Shown below is an example of the connections of a
KLPMUTO photocell as a safety device.
1 Connect the NC contacts of the photocell (1) or of
any other safety device (safety strips) to the
corresponding connector of the control panel.
Correctly programme the microswitches DIP1 and
DIP2 (see the photocell instructions).
The 24Vac connector can be used to feed the
photocell.
O
If a safety device is not installed, make an electrical
bridge.
When starting the opening operation, the panel
closes the relay contacts (LG), as a voltage-free
button, for 3 secs.
1 Connect the NA contacts, free of voltage, to the
garage light timer, automatic stair light, teleswitch
or other appropriate device (DLG).
Do not connect the lights directly to these
connectors.
Do not connect the mains phases to these
connectors, as this will cause a short circuit.
The panel has battery connection terminals for
emergency operation in the event of interruption to
the electricity supply.
The battery connection is optional, and is not
necessary for the correct operation of the panel.
1 Connect the battery terminals to the corresponding
contacts on the panel.
O
Respect the polarity.
The control panel automatically recharges the
battery when the electricity supply is restored.
When running off the battery, the gate moves more
slowly throughout the travel.
