To avoid accidental contact with the bottom of the hob while it is hot, or receiving an unexpected
electric shock during use, it is necessary to place a wooden insert, fixed with screws, at a
minimum distance of 50 mm from the bottom of the hob. Follow the indications on figure 6.
Warning
-
There are ventilation gaps around the exterior of the hob. You must ensure these gaps are
not blocked by the worktop when placing the hob.
-
Please note that the glue that binds the plastic or wooden material to the furniture must
withstand a temperature of more than 150°C to prevent the coating from peeling off.
-
The rear wall and the adjacent and surrounding surfaces must be able to withstand a
temperature of 90ºC.
Before installing the hob
-
Make sure the worktop in which you install the hob is levelled, complies with the space
requirements and is made of a heat-resistant and insulated material.
-
If you install the cooking hob over an oven, the latter must have a cooling fan.
-
The installation will comply with all the safety requirements, and the applicable rules and
regulations.

The main wiring is fitted with a suitable isolating switch that allows complete disconnection
from the mains, which has been installed and positioned in accordance with local wiring
rules and regulations.
-
The isolating switch must be of an approved model and provide 3 mm contact separation
on all poles (or on all active [phase] conductors if local wiring regulations allow this
variation of requirements).
-
If in doubt about the installation, seek advice from local building authorities and regulations.
-
Use heat-resistant and easy-to-clean finishes (such as ceramic tiles) on the walls
surrounding the hob.
After installing the hob
The supply cord should not be accessible through the cabinet doors or drawers.
-
-
Make sure that there is an adequate flow of fresh air from the exterior of the cabinet to
the hob base.
If the hob is installed on a drawers or cabinets space, you must install a thermal protection
-
barrier under the hob base.
-
The user must be able to access the isolating switch easily.
Fixing brackets
-
You must place the unit on a stable and smooth surface (you can use the packaging). Do
not apply force to the buttons protruding from the hob.
-
Secure the hob to the worktop by screwing the four brackets located on the interior part of
the hob (as shown in Fig. 7) after the installation.
Set the bracket position to adapt to the thickness of the worktop. Fig. 8

Warning
-
Brackets should not, under any circumstance, touch the interior surfaces of the worktop
after installation. Fig. 8
-
It is recommended that qualified personnel or technicians install the hob. You should not
install it on your own.
Do not install the induction hob directly over a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a
-
washing machine or a dryer, as moisture could damage the electric system of the hob.
-
The induction hob must be installed in a manner that ensures the best heat radiation to
obtain the best results.
The wall and the area over the work surface must withstand the heat.
-
-
To avoid any damage, the bonding layer and the adhesive must be heat resistant.
