- This appliance must be connected to a circuit fitted with an
isolating switch that allows total disconnection from the
mains.
- If the device is not correctly installed, any guarantee or
liability claims may be voided.
- If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, the supplier or qualified personnel in order to
avoid a hazard.
- Warning: If the induction hob surface shows cracks or
damage, turn off the device to avoid possible electric shocks
and contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec. Do not
cook on a cracked or broken hob.
- Metallic objects like knives, forks, spoons and lids should
not be places on the hob surface, as they may heat up.
- You should not use steam cleaners.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
- WARNING: Fire hazard: do not store nor place objects on the
cooking surfaces nor use them as a work surface.
- CAUTION: the cooking process must be supervised. A short
cooking process must be continuously monitored.
- WARNING: unsupervised cooking on a cooking hob with
grease or oil may be dangerous and cause a fire. Never try
to turn off a fire with water, turn off the device and cover the
flame, for example, with a lid or a fireproof blanket.
- Unplug the cooking hob before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance task.
- This device complies with the electromagnetic safety
standards. However, persons with pacemakers or other
implants such as insulin pumps should check with their
doctor or with the implant manufacturer before using this
device to make sure their implants will not be affected by the
electromagnetic field.

- Do not allow your body, clothes or any other object which
is not suitable cookware to come into contact with the hob
surface until the surface is cold.
- Keep children away from the device.
- The cookware handles may be hot to the touch after use.
Check the cookware handles do not overlap other cooking
areas that are on. Keep the handles out of the reach of
children. Failure to follow this advice may result in burns.
- The sharp blade of the hob scraper (not included) is exposed
when the safety cover is retracted. Use it with extreme care
and always store it safely and out of reach of children. Failure
to exercise caution may result in injury or cuts.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while in use. Boiling
causes fumes and grease spills that can ignite.
- Do not place nor leave or leave magnetised objects (e.g. credit
cards, memory cards) or electronic devices (e.g. computers,
MP3 players) near the device as they may be affected by its
electromagnetic field.
- Never use the device to heat a room.
- After use, always turn off the cooking areas and the hob as
described in this manual.
- Do not allow children to play with the device, sit or stand on
it.
- Do not store objects of interest to children in the cabinets
above the appliance. Serious injury can occur if children
climb on the hob.
- Do not leave children alone or unsupervised in the area
where the device is used.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above,
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
