7. Troubleshooting
Problem
The Smart Smoke Detector does not
go off when testing
The Smart Smoke Detector beeps and
flashes a red light every minute.
The Smart Smoke Detector beeps
every 40 seconds
The alarm triggers intermittently or
when residents are cooking or taking
showers, etc.
The Smart Smoke Detector does not
connect to the Hombli app
Solution
Make sure the device is turned on (step 1). Now press and hold
the Hombli logo again to test. If this does not work, contact our
customer service.
The battery is low. Please replace the device as soon as possible.
Turn off the power by following step 1.
1. Clean the device (according to step 5)
2. If the beeping continues, the device is malfunctioning. Replace
the device or contact our customer service.
