When using the paddle for an extraction, if it is
moved back to its original position as soon as coffee
dispensing is over, a star icon will appear between
the 'P' and 'M' buttons.

By pressing the icon it will be possible to save the
profile of the dispensing that has just taken place by
selecting the lever profile to be overwritten. After 10
seconds since the end of the dispensing, the display
changes from dispensing to IDLE.
10.4 COFFEE PREPARATION
General rules for the preparation of a good coffee:
• For a single espresso the drink is 25-30 ml with
7-8 g of coffee.
• For a double espresso the drink is 50-60 ml
with 14-16 g of coffee.
• The extraction temperature should usually be set
between 90.5-96°C.
• The cup must be hot so take it from the cup
heating plate or, if cold, rinse it with hot water.
Never load the filter holder without immediately after
dispensing it; the coffee powder would "burn" in
the group and the espresso would be very bitter. It
is advisable to grind the quantity of coffee needed
for immediate consumption; ground coffee left for
a long time loses its aromatic qualities and the fatty
substances it contains go rancid.
