PRE-INSTALLATION
PRÉ-INSTALLATION - PREINSTALACIÓN
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

When using this electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
- READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
- "CAUTION: CONNECT ONLY TO A CIRCUIT PROTECTED BY A CLASS A GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTER-
RUPTER"
- SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
- The Manufacturer declines all liability if the product is installed in rooms with systems or structures
which do not meet the required legal standards or for work carried out by untrained or unqualified
personnel.
- The device must be installed by qualified technicians only, in line with international standard IEC 60364-1 or the
local standards in force.
- The installer must not tamper with the electrical or operating parts of the product and instead should only con-
nect and install the components as indicated in this manual.
- The device must be permanently connected to a circuit protected by a CLASS "A" GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTER-
RUPTER.
- It is mandatory to install a device which allows complete disconnection in overvoltage category III conditions.
- The electrical connections, the main switch with a differential and fuse, and the control switch must be installed in
compliance with US and Canada National Electrical Code and local area requirements.
- The product must only be used with the power supply unit supplied with it.
- The shower head must be connected to the equipotential node in the system, where provided for by international
standard IEC 60364-1 or the local standards in force. Use yellow/green cable, which should be fixed in the terminal
provided and labelled.
- Connection to the water mains must be made using new hoses and piping; do not use old hoses and piping.
- This manual constitutes an integral part of the product. Please store it safely in an accessible place.
- The product is not suitable for use by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or individuals without the necessary knowledge or experience, unless supervised or instructed on
its use by an individual responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to make sure that they do
not play with the product.
WARNING: The device can be used by children aged 8 years and above, by people with physical, sen-
-
sory or mental difficulties, or by those lacking experience and knowledge, provided that they are su-
pervised or have been informed as to how to use the device safely and understand the inherent risks.
Children must not play with the device. User cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by unsuper-
vised children.
- Always take note of all safety warnings and regulations from the relevant bodies in each country.
- In case of a product fault, do not attempt to repair it yourself. Please contact an Authorised Support Centre for original
replacement parts.
- If damaged, to avoid any dangers the power supply cable must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified
individual.
- The product does not have components containing mercury or asbestos.
