9.2 Manual internal cleaning and lubricating
– Use lubricant that is specifi ed for the medical device to clean and lubricate the interior of the medical device: put the nozzle insert into the tube of
the spray can and then insert the nozzle into the drive air tube of the medical device (Fig. 9-1), press the spray button for 2 – 3 seconds until the
lubricant comes out from the head.
– Wipe o any leaking lubricant from the head with a lint-free cloth.
9.3 Chucking system cleaning and lubricating
– Use lubricant that is specifi ed for the medical device to clean and lubricate the chucking system: put the nozzle insert into the tube of the spray can
and then insert the nozzle to the chucking System (Fig. 9-2), press the spray button for 2 – 3 seconds until the lubricant comes out from the head.
– Wipe o any leaking lubricant from the head with a lint-free cloth.
