INSTALLATION
The outdoor unit can be fastened outside in an open place to a horizontal
object, e.g. the top of a wall, beam or board. The rain tray must stand firm so
that the wind has no influence.
Advice, first register the outdoor unit with the indoor unit and only then place
it in its permanent location outdoors. The outdoor unit records the amount
of rain and measures the outside temperature. Because the temperature
sensor is located in the plastic housing, it is possible that when the tray
is in full sunlight, the indicated temperature reads higher than the actual
temperature.
outdoor unit batteries installation:
Remove the upper part of the base plate.
Once the lid has been removed, the battery cover can be removed.
Insert the batteries 2 x AAA 1.5V Alkaline in the battery compartment.
Pay attention to the polarity. Replace the cover.
Because the rain unit and indoor unit work with a unique code, the indoor
unit must be powered on as soon as possible after the batteries have been
installed in the outdoor unit. The code will be synchronized within the first
10 minutes.
