CAUTION!

If the red control LED w flashes, this means
that the battery pack 5 has overheated and
cannot be charged.
If the red and green control LEDs w q both

flash, this means that the battery pack 5 is
defective.

Never recharge a battery pack again immedi-
ately after rapid charging. There is a risk that
the battery pack will overheat and this will
reduce the lifespan of the battery.
You should always switch the charger e

off for at least 15 minutes between successive
charging processes. Also disconnect the power
plug from the mains power socket.

Pull the battery pack 5 out of the appliance.

Checking the battery charge level

To check the battery status, press the battery
charge level button r. The status will be shown
on the battery display LED t as follows:
RED/ORANGE/GREEN = maximum charge
RED/ORANGE = medium charge
RED = low charge – charge the battery
Attaching the stirrer rod
Use the two supplied spanners 8 to fit the
♦
stirring attachment 7 to the stirrer rod 6
(see fig. A).
♦
Pull back the locking collar 9 on the tool
holder 0. Insert the correct end of the stirrer
rod 6 into the tool holder 0 (see fig. B).
Check that the stirrer rod 6 is firmly fitted
by twisting and pulling on it.

Operation
Switching the appliance on/off
Switching on

Push in the safety button 2 and keep it pushed
in.
♦
Press the ON/OFF switch 1 and keep it
pressed in. You can now release the safety
button 2.
Switching off

Release the ON/OFF switch 1.
Setting the rotational speed

Press the + button 4 to increase the speed.
Press the – button 3 to reduce the speed.

Working with the stirrer
Dip the stirrer rod 6 into the material you want
♦
to mix at a low speed.
♦
Once the stirrer rod is completely immersed
in the material you can increase the speed.
♦
During mixing, move the stirrer rod around in
the mixing vessel and continue mixing until
the material is thoroughly mixed.
Maintenance and cleaning

Always switch the appliance off and
remove the battery before carrying
out any work on the appliance.

Use a dry cloth to clean the housing. Never
use petrol, solvents or cleaning agents that can
damage plastic.
■
Keep the appliance clean, dry and free from
oil or grease. Do not allow liquids to get into
the paint and mortar mixer.
■
Clean the paint and mortar mixer regularly;
preferably directly after finishing work.
