3.4 Cartridges to be used
• Use only 9 x 17 calibre cartridges.
• Load level 3 cartridges are recommended.
3.5 Function
Place the loaded spring gun with its muzzle in an unearthed passageway.
The vole will soon attempt to close the passage again to keep out light and fresh air. The vole activates the trigger (item 4) and the cartridge is
released. The high gas pressure of the special cartridge kills the vole in a flash in a manner that is suitable for animal protection.
4. Assembly and commissioning
4.1 Partially cock and secure the device
1. Use your thumb to press the cocking piece (Fig.3, Item 2) in the
direction of fire, fold back the safety ring (Fig. 3, Item 3) over the
cocking piece (see Fig. 4). The device should only be put down and
handled while in this state!
4.2 Loading and unlocking the device
3. Introduce the yellow 9 x 17 mm cartridge into the cartridge holder
(Fig. 3, Item 5). Fully and firmly screw the cartridge holder into the
device (see Fig. 5).
5. Hook the cocking piece into the trigger rod (see Fig. 8).

2. Device partially cocked. In this state, the firing pin lies back in the
bottom of the cartridge bearing (see Fig. 6).
4. Push the trigger (Fig. 3, Item 4) into the front end position and lock
it with the help of the locking pin (Fig. 3, Item 7) (see Fig. 7).
