Battery packs have a capacity and signal display
(13) (depends on design variant):
- Press the button (15); the LEDs indicate the
charge (13) level.
- The battery pack is almost empty and must be
recharged if one LED is flashing.
Inserting and removing the battery pack
WARNING! Before removing battery packs:
Switch off the machine and wait until the motor
is at a standstill.
Insertion: Slide in the battery packs (12) until they
engage.
Removal: Press the battery pack release button
(14) and pull out the battery packs (12).
7. Use
7.1
Attaching/removing attachment or
extension bar
WARNING! Prior to any conversion work:
Switch off the machine and remove battery
pack (12) . The machine must be stationary.
Unintentional start-up can cause serious injuries.
WARNING! Danger of crushing. Wear
protective gloves.
See fig. A.
Assembling:
1. Release the wing (17) screw.
2. Align the rod ends with each other as shown in
fig. A.
3. Push the rod ends into each other so that the
release button (16) engages.
(Note: If there are any problems when
pushing the rod ends into each other: Turn
the rod of the attachment device back and forth
a bit during insertion. If necessary, switch on the
motor briefly to move the coupling elements to a
different position.)
4. Check that the release button (16) is securely
engaged by pulling on the ends of the rods.
5. Tighten the wing screw (17).
WARNING! Before commissioning and
periodically during operation: Check that the
wing screw is tight to prevent serious injury.
Disassembly:
1. Release the wing (17) screw.
2. Press the release button (16) and pull apart the
rod ends at the same time.
7.2

Shoulder strap

WARNING! Always use only 1 shoulder strap.
Put on the shoulder strap (1) as shown, and
adjust it to a length suitable for the work task. Hook
in the carabiner hook of the shoulder strap (1) from
the suspension point (5) . Unhook after finishing the
work.
7.3
Switching on the machine, change
speed, switching off
WARNING! Wear personal protective
equipment and always wear safety glasses.
Use only with the attachment in place.
SWITCHING ON
1. Firmly hold the machine with both hands at the
handle (9) and handle (4). Observe the
operating instructions supplied with the installed
attachment.
2. Press the activation button (6): Speed level 2 is
activated. Switch between speed level 1 and 2
by pressing several times.
Note: If step 3 is not carried out within 5
seconds after step 2, the machine is
automatically deactivated again. In this case:
Carry out step 2 again.
3. Press and keep pressed the switch lock (7) .
4. Press the switch (8) to start up. The speed can
be changed by depressing the switch.
SWITCHING OFF:
Release the switch (8). Hold the machine firmly with
both hands and wait until the machine has come to
a complete standstill.
Note: If you continue to press the switch lock
(7), the machine can be switched on again from
the switch (8) within 2 minutes (to continue
working).
8. Cleaning, transporting,
storage
WARNING! Remove the battery packs (12) .
Unintentional start-up can cause serious
injuries. The machine must be stationary.
8.1
Cleaning
Clean after each use: Remove dirt and other
deposits. Clean the machine with a dry cloth. Do not
use water.
8.2
Transporting, storage
- Clean the machine before storage.
- Store the machine in a dry place.
- Ensure that children cannot get anywhere near
the machine.
- Be careful when carrying the device and take into
account the weight of the attachment. Depending
on the application, use the shoulder strap (1).
- Secure in a safe position for transport.
9. Maintenance
WARNING! Remove the battery packs (12) .
Unintentional start-up can cause serious
injuries. The machine must be stationary.
9.1
General maintenance
- Check the machine for damaged, missing or loose
parts such as screws, nuts.
- Check the machine before each use for damage
and ageing and have it repaired in a specialist
workshop immediately if necessary.
- Tighten all fasteners and screws properly.
- Never service damaged battery packs. Service
of battery packs should only be performed by the
manufacturer or authorized service providers.
