6.3 Needle replacement

Proceed as follows to remove or insert a
needle:
REMOVAL
1. Turn the cylinder with the electronic
handle, position the needle to be
replaced near the clearing point on
the plate between feed n. 4 and n. 5
(Fig.61).
2. Take the supplied pliers and grip the
needle butt, lower it and remove it in
sequence until the needle head has
come out of the holding springs. Now
complete the removal.

3. Grip the damaged needle with the
pliers, open the latch and break its
head. Then insert it below the needle
stem to be replaced in order to extract
it from the outside face of the cylinder;
then complete removal as described
above.

4. Open the needle latch and grip it with
the pliers at the middle of the stem.
5. Insert it with its head into the cylinder
free slot and below the holding
springs.
6. Take it once again by the butt and
insert it.

6.3 Sustitución agujas.

Si se debe extraer o introducir una aguja se
debe proceder de la manera siguiente:
EXTRACCIÓN
1. Hacer girar el cilindro con la manivela
electrónica, colocar la aguja que hay que
sustituir
en
descarga sobre el plato entre la 4ª y la 5ª
alimentación (Fig.61).
2. Utilizar las pinzas suministradas y tomar
el talón de la aguja, bajarlo y extraerlo en
secuencia hasta que la cabeza de la
aguja haya sobrepasado los resortes de
contención, en este punto completar la
extracción.

3. Tomar con la pinza una aguja ya dañada,
abrir la lengüeta y romperle la cabeza,
entonces insertarla debajo del vástago
de la aguja que hay que sustituir de
manera que se pueda extraer del perfil
externo del cilindro; después se debe
proceder a la extracción como se ha
explicado anteriormente.

4. Abrir la lengüeta de la aguja y tomarla
con la pinza a mitad del vástago.
5. Introducirla
con
hendidura del cilindro y debajo del muelle
de contención.
6. Volverla a tomar en el talón y completar
la introducción.
