The digital multimeter complies with the electrical safety regulations for electronic measuring
instruments and digital handheld multimeters, as well as the EN 61010-1 (CAT III 600 V,
pollution degree 2) required by the international standard.
Please read the following manual before use and follow all applicable safety standards.
To use the device safely, read this manual carefully and carefully.

1.1 Product description

1 DISPLAY: LC-Display 15 mm, 3,5 digits
2 BUTTON TO FREEZE THE DISPLAY VALUE (HOLD):
• Press the key to freeze the displayed value.
• Press this button again to return to the normal display.
3 TURNING KNOB: With the turning knob you can change the function and / or the
measuring range. The available functions are: voltage, current, resistance, diode, continuity,
transistor gain.
4 PROBES JACKS:
and for diode tests and continuity tests (red test lead).
• COM: input for the common cable (black test lead)
• 10 A: Input for current measurement of more than 200 mA (red test lead).
1.2 Precautions
• Allow the device to warm up for 30 seconds before taking a first measurement.
• Check the housing condition of the device before each use. Make sure that neither the case
nor the insulation surrounding the probe ending are damaged.
• Use only the test probes supplied with the device. If the cables are damaged or need
replacing, select those with the same characteristics.
• Check the operation of the device by testing with a known voltage source. An anomal value
is usually the result of a damage to the equipment protection: in this case, you must have it
repaired before use it again.
• Do not place the device in a strong magnetic field, otherwise incorrect measurements may
occur.
• Do not place the unit in an environment where pressure is high, where there is an elevated
temperature, or is exposed to dust, explosive gases or vapors.
• Before each measurement, make sure that the test leads are connected to the correspon-
ding input jacks.
• If the magnitude of the value to be measured is unknown, select the highest measurement
range.
Never exceed the protection limits indicatedd in the specifications for each measuring range.
• Do not perform voltage test with the 10A input jack.
• Always be careful when measuring voltages above 60V
behind the hand guard when measuring a voltage.
• To connect the leads to the measuring circuit, first connect the COM probe, and then the
other probe . Disconnect from circuit In reverse order.
• Disconnect the probes from the circuit before changing the function and / or the measuring
range.
• Disconnect the probes from the circuit before testing a transistor.
• Before performing a resistance or continuity test or a diode test, disconnect the power and
discharge all capacitors.
• Before making a current measurement, be sure to turn off the power, disconnect the circuit,
connect the cables in series to the line being measured, and restore the power.
• If the symbol «
• Only use the device in dry areas with low risk of mechanical shock.
