6. How to use your thermometer
6.3 Take room / object temperature
When the thermometer is off, press the memory mute/sound
button for 3 seconds until the house symbol appears in the
display. Then press the measuring button to measure the room
temperature. To measure the object temperature, keep the
thermometer at a distance of about 1-5 cm from the desired
object. Press the measure button for one second, the beep
confirms the measurement. You can now read the value.
6.4 After a measurement
Once the measurement is complete, remove the thermometer from your forehead/ear and read the
temperature. After each measurement, you can switch to the recall mode and view previous
temperature readings.
Do not hold the thermometer in your hand for long periods of time as it is sensitive

to the ambient temperature.
Clean the measuring head with a soft cloth after each measurement and place the
f
thermometer in a dry and well-ventilated place.
You should wait at least 10 seconds between each measurement.

6.5 Read your temperature
T denotes the temperature value displayed in forehead or ear measurement mode.
When 32°C ≤ T ≤ 37.3°C (89.6°F ≤ T ≤ 99.2°F), the green light is on for 3 seconds, with a long
f
beep.
When 37.4°C ≤ T ≤ 37.9°C (99.3°F ≤ T ≤ 100.3°F), the orange light will illuminate for 3 seconds with
f
3 short beeps and the value on the LCD will flicker, warning of a slight fever.
When 38°C ≤ T ≤ 42.9°C (100.4°F ≤ T ≤ 109.2°F), the red light will glow for 3 seconds with 5 short
f
beeps and the value on the LCD will flicker, which is a warning signal that you may have a high
fever.
6.6 Switching between sound and mute mode
When the thermometer is on, press and hold the Memory/
Mute-sound button for 2-3 seconds to turn the sound on or
off.
