6.7 Calling up stored values
When the thermometer is on or off, press the Memory/Mute-sound button to enter Memory mode.
Press this key again to read the 35 memory sets in sequence. If no value is available, „---M" is displayed.
6.8 Change from degrees to Fahrenheit
Open the battery compartment cover and use the toggle switch
to change from °C to °F.
6.9 Change from degrees to Fahrenheit
When the thermometer is on, press both the Memory/
Mute-sound button and Measure button for 2-3 seconds to
enter the temperature compensation mode. By pressing the
Memory/Mute-sound button, you can set the temperature from
± 0.0 to ± 2.0.
NOTE: All future temperatures you measure will automatically be
increased by the value you set.
6.10 Switch off
The unit switches off automatically if it is not used for 10 seconds. Or you can press and hold the
Measure button for 5-7 seconds to switch off the unit.
CAUTION:
If the battery is uninstalled or reinstalled, all stored values will be lost.

All settings are reset to the default settings when the battery is uninstalled. If you need to adjust the

settings, turn on the power and make the new settings.
6.11 Replace the battery
Slide the battery cover along the marked direction. Insert two AAA batteries correctly into the
compartment.
NOTE:
Remove the batteries if the thermometer will not be used for more than two months.

Notes on temperature measurement
It is important to know the normal temperature of each individual in a healthy state. This is the
f
only way to diagnose fever accurately. Record the values twice a day (early morning and late
afternoon). Take the average of the two temperatures to calculate the normal oral equivalent
temperature. Always measure the temperature in the same place, as the temperature readings can
vary in different parts of the forehead.
