PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The heat gun is designed to shrink, bend, weld, dry, fuse and
thaw different materials and pieces.
GENERAL SAFEY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failu-
re to follow the warnings and instructions listed below may result
in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
•
Keep work area clean and well lit.
•
Do not use the power tool in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or
dust.
•
Keep children and bystanders away while operating the
power tool.
Electrical safety
•
The plugs of the power tool must match the socket out-
let. Never modify the plug in any way, and do not use a
grounded adapter plug.
•
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes,
radiators, cookers and refrigerators.
•
Do not expose the power tool to rain or moisture.
•
Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying,
pulling or unplugging the power tool.
•
Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving
parts.
•
When using the power tool outdoors, use an extension
cord suitable for outdoor use.
•
If it is unavoidable to use the power tool in a damp pla-
ce, use a supply protected by a Residual Current Device
(RCD).
Personal safety
•
Be alert, pay attention to what you are doing and use
common sense when operating the power tool.
•
Do not operate the power tool when you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
•
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection, dust mask, non-slip safety shoes, hard hat or
hearing protection.
•
Avoid unintentional starting.
•
Ensure that the switch is in the off position before pic-
king up or carrying the power tool, or connecting it to the
power source and/or battery pack.
•
Never carry the power tool with your finger on the switch.
•
Remove adjusting spanners or wrench before turning the
power tool on.
•
Do not overextend yourself. Maintain balance and stabili-
ty when operating the power tool.
•
Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewe-
llery. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving
parts.
•
If devices are provided for the connection of dust extrac-
tion and collection facilities, ensure that they are connec-
ted and used correctly.
Use and care of the power tool
•
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool
for your application.
•
Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn on
or off.
•
Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or battery
before making any adjustments, changing accessories or
storing power tools.
•
Store idle power tool out of the reach of children and do
not allow persons unfamiliar with the tool or these instruc-
tions to operate the tool.
•
Maintain the power tool. Check for misalignment or bin-
ding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other
condition that may affect the power tool's operation.
•
Keep the cutting parts sharp and clean.
•
Use the power tool, accessories and nozzles in accor-
dance with these instructions, taking into account the
working conditions and the work to be performed.
Use and care of the battery
•
Make sure the switch is in the off position before inserting
the battery.
•
Never attempt to open the battery for any reason. If the
plastic casing of the battery breaks or cracks, stop using
it immediately and do not recharge it
•
Protect the battery from sunlight, high temperatures, fla-
mes, water and humidity.
•
When the battery is not in use, keep it away from other
metal objects, such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metal objects, which can make a
connection from one terminal to another.
•
Under abusive conditions, liquid may leak from the bat-
tery; avoid contact. If accidental contact occurs, flush with
water. If liquid comes into contact with eyes, also seek
medical advice.
•
If the battery is damaged or the instructions for use are
not followed, it can generate poisonous vapours.
•
Recharge only with the charger specified by the manu-
facturer.
•
Use the power tool only with specifically designated ba-
tteries.
Additional safety instructions for the heat gun
•
Do not put the hand on the air inlet or block the air ven-
tilation.
•
During use, the nozzles and other parts of the tool will
have an extremely high temperature, it can only be tou-
ched after it has cooled down completely.
•
Cut off the power supply before putting down the power
tool.
•
Avoid leaving the machine unattended when it is in ope-
ration.
•
Store the electric heat gun when it has cooled down com-
pletely.
•
Ensure that there is adequate air ventilation to expel poi-
sonous smoke that may be generated during use.
•
Do not use the tool as a blower.
•
Do not block the air inlet or outlet, as this may cause the
electric heat gun to become very hot and damaged.
•
Do not direct the electric heat gun at anyone.
•
Do not touch the ventilation hole until at least 30 minutes
after switching off the power tool.
ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
Metal hook assembly
WARNING! When working at great heights, make sure that
the attachment of the hook is reliable and prevent it from falling
and injuring people nearby.
