Use of the device
Note
Fill the bottle with no more than one
litre.
Pneumatic connection of the air supply (see
■
technical data section and Fig. V).
Point the probe at the surface to be sprayed from
■
a distance of 10 to 30 cm.
Press the control lever [5] fully home.
■
3 The device sprays.
After use, disconnect the device from the
■
compressed air supply and clean (see section
Maintenance / Care).
Setting (fig. V)
Standard setting
Working pressure 4 bar.
■
Open the air supply, screw open the discharge
■
control wheel [14] by at least half a turn and ad-
just the material supply with the product control
wheel [15].
Use a suitable probe [11].
■
Setting the product quantity
Rotate the product control wheel [15] for the
■
nozzle:
• Clockwise: Product quantity reduces.
• Anticlockwise: Product quantity increases.
Attention!
Risk of property damage
The pressure can also cause the product to
■
flow out and cause the device to stick strongly
together.
¾ When operating, never fully close the
discharge control wheel [14].
Adjusting product atomisation
Rotate the discharge control wheel [14]:
■
— Clockwise: The air passage reduces and atomis-
ation reduces (becomes coarser).
— Anticlockwise: The air passage increases and
atomisation increases (becomes finer).
14
Overall adjustment for the air supply
(optional)
This adjustment is made via the discharge control
wheel. Turn the control wheel anticlockwise,
to increase the air throughput (increased supply), or
clockwise
to reduce the air throughput until it is fully closed. In
general, this discharge control wheel should be fully
open when the pressure equals 3/4 bar. If
the pressure is higher, it must be partially closed.
Combined setting
Thinner or thicker wax layers can be applied via a
combined adjustment of the product control wheel
[15] and the discharge control wheel [14].
Maintenance / care
WARNING!
Risk of injuries or property damage
due to improper actions.
¾ Disconnect the device from the air
supply before carrying out any
service or maintenance work.
Disconnect the nailer from the air supply.
■
Empty the product into a suitable container.
■
Half fill the pressure tank with clean water or a
■
cleaner suitable for the product used.
Rinse the pressure tank; to do so, circulate the
■
water or cleaner inside it. Close the pressure tank.
Connect the device to the air supply again.
■
Spray solvent into a special container until the
■
device is clean.
When doing so, completely close the discharge
control wheel, to prevent atomising of the solvent,
which could result in contamination of the imme-
diate surroundings.
