The power tool is double insulated, which means
that all external metal parts are insulated from the
electrical components. Therefore, in accordance with EN
60745 standard, no grounding is required. However, double
insulation does not replace the normal safety precautions
that should be observed when operating the wet and dry
vacuum cleaner.
Do not expose the power tool to rain or use it in wet or damp
conditions. The presence of water in a power tool increases
the risk of damage and electric shock to the user.
Only hold the power tool by its insulated surfaces, which
prevent electric shock if the power tool contacting hidden
wires or power cord during operation.
Do not use power tools in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or dust. Power tools create sparks that can ignite liquids,
gases, or dust.
Individuals who have not read the instruction manual and
are not familiarized with how to operate the wet and dry
vacuum cleaner must not use it.
To ensure that you work with the power tool safely, you
should take into account a few precautions and procedures
before start-up:
▪ Inspect the power tool before each use. Check that all
accessories are assembled correctly and in good
condition. If there is damage or excessive wear, replace
them;
▪ Under normal operation, the power tool vibrates. Check
that all bolts are properly tightened. Regular inspection
is important to ensure safety issues and the performance
of the power tool;
▪ After the accessories' assembly and before using the
power tool, test it at full speed with no load for a while;
▪ Check that the safety devices are in perfect condition
and work properly. Never use the power tool if the safety
devices are missing, inhibited, damaged or worn out;
▪ If the ON/OFF switch is damaged or does not allow the
operation of the tool to be controlled, it must be repaired
or replaced in order to prevent any accidental start.
Perform all adjustments and work necessary for the correct
assembly of the vacuum cleaner. If you have any questions
or difficulties, contact your official distributor.
Keep third parties away from the power tool's area of
operation. Never work while animals or people,
especially children, are in the danger zone.
Keep the work area clean, organized and well lit (250 to 300
lux), thus decreasing the risk of accidents.
Always wear personal protective equipment and clothing.
Wearing a visor or goggles, dust mask, hearing protection,
anti-slip safety shoes, long-sleeved clothing, gloves and
helmet properly reduces the risk of injury.
Clothing worn during the appliance operation must be
adequate, tight and closed, for example, a work boiler suit.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing
and gloves away from moving parts.
Operating the power tool causes a massive load of
vibrations may damage nervous and circulatory
systems, especially to whom have circulatory disorders.
Inform your doctor if any symptoms arise caused by the
vibrations. Among these symptoms, that occur specially on
fingers, hand and wrists, are also included loss of
sensation, pain, muscle weakness, skin discoloration or
tingling sensation.
