1. Insert the battery (12) on the groove and slip it all the way
until you hear a "click" noise from the lock/unlock
button. At this point, the battery is locked in place;
2. To remove the battery, press the lock/unlock button and
pull out the battery.
Use VITO's 20V lithium-ion batteries
1. Fit the battery in the charger in the same way as you
would place it in the appliance;
2. Plug the charger into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the battery and the
charger can be hot, which doesn't mean they are
malfunctioning.
Let the battery cool down before fitting it into the wet and
dry vacuum cleaner.
1. Insert the wheel fixing pin into the hole and push.
1. Attach the hose (14) to the suction port;
▪ To vacuum, connect the hose ton the suction port (13);
2. Rotate the hose clockwise to secure it;
3. Check that the hose is properly fixed;
4. Insert the metal telescopic tube (1) into the connector.
To detach the hose:
1. Rotate the hose anticlockwise and disconnect.
Never operate the vacuum cleaner without having
the HEPA filter installed. The HEPA filter prevents
solids or liquids intake to the motor, thus preventing
breakdowns.
1. Undo the fastening latches (4) and remove the vacuum
cleaner head;
2. Fit the HEPA filter on the motor base;
3. Place the head back on and fasten the latches.
Do not run the vacuum cleaner for more than 4 hours,
including rest breaks. Make sure the vacuum cleaner is
regularly switched off to allow the motor to cool down
(every 15 min switch off for 1 min). Otherwise, you may
damage the motor.
Never use the appliance for vacuuming:
▪ Hazardous dust to health;
.
▪ Hot or burning materials such as cigarettes, matches or
hot ashes;
▪ Flammable or combustible liquids, such as petrol,
solvents, acids or bleach;
▪ Combustible or explosive dusts, e.g. magnesium dust;
▪ Sharp objects.
Never use the vacuum cleaner if the suction power is too
low. If this happens, check that the filter bag is full and
check the condition of the filters (see maintenance
instructions). Also check if there are any blockages or
clogging in the hose, tube or suction accessories.
Avoid vacuuming up debris and materials that could reduce
airflow and block or clog accessories.
Do not use the cleaner if it does not operate normally. If the
problem persists, have the vacuum cleaner serviced by the
brand technical assistance.
