7) Cover
•Place all the curlers in the unit, sliding them onto the support pins provided.
•Close the transparent cover. Place the unit on a smooth, flat surface.
•Warning: the unit will heat up when in use.
•Pull the power cable out to its full length, and insert the plug in the power socket
•To heat the curlers (1) turn the ON/OFF switch (4) to position I. The indicator light will come on to
show that the unit is working.
•Leave the appliance to heat up for at least 5 minutes. The transparent cover should remain closed
until the rollers are ready to be used.
•While heating is taking place, steam may cause a light condensation to form; this is normal and is
not a cause for concern.
•When the curlers are hot, the red dot (3) on the curler itself will change colour. When it turns from
red to white, this means that the curlers have reached the proper temperature and are ready for
use.
•Only use the unit on dry hair.
•Take a strand of hair, pull it straight and wrap it around the curler. The curler must be held on the
unheated holding edge (2). The strand must never be wider than the length of the curler. Start
from the tips of the hair when wrapping the strand around the curler.
•Select the direction in which the strand of hair is wrapped around the curler according to the type
of hairstyle you which to achieve (traditional curls or hairstyle with added volume).
•After each section of hair has been wound around the roller, secure it using the built-in hair clip
(6).
•Repeat the above procedure with the other strands, according to the hairstyle you wish to achieve.
•Leave the curlers to cool down completely.
•Release the clips (6) and unwind each section of hair one by one, beginning at the base of the
hairline and taking care not to create tangles.
•Leave the hair to cool completely before adjusting with the hands. Do not use a brush!
•For a more long-lasting set, use setting or fixing products before or after putting the curlers in your
hair:
- for fine hair, apply a "volumising" spray or mousse on damp or dry hair before setting.
- for thick hair, use a strong gel.
- to prevent any loss of volume in the curls formed, it is recommended that you spray any fixing
lotions from the bottom up, lifting the curls, rather from the top of the hairstyle.
•You can create endless different types of waves and curls with your curler set: be creative and try
lots of different hairstyles!
