Operating Instructions
GENERAL OPERATION
Please read carefully before using !
SAFETY TIPS
Attach the clip of the safety key to your clothes before exerci-
sing to ensure the machine will stop in case the user acciden-
tally runs off the treadmill. Should that happen, the safety key
will cut off the monitor and the treadmill will stop at once to
avoid further injury.
QUICK START
Turn the power switch (lower front base) to on.
Attach the safety clip correctly.
Step onto the treadmill and stand with your feet on the
side rails.
Press the START button. A countdown will appear and
then the belt will start to move at 0.8 kph.
Matrix shows a 400 m running track.
Adjust Speed and Incline using ˄/˅ buttons or quick keys.
Press STOP to pauze the exercise.
Press START to resume or STOP to stop the exercise.
CONSOLE CONTROLS
START
Press the START button to start the belt moving. After a 3-se-
cond countdown, the treadmill will start 0.8 kph.
STOP
When exercising on the treadmill, press the STOP button
once to pause your workout. When in pause mode, press
START to continue the workout or press STOP to end your
session. All the values will be reset to zero and the treadmill
will return to standby mode.
COOL DOWN
When exercising on the treadmill, press the COOL DOWN
button and the treadmill will slow down to standby mode.

The coold own period is related to the total run time.
If the exercise took over 20 minutes, the treadmill will slow
down over a 5 minutes period.
If the exercise tool less than 20 minutes, the treadmill will
slow down over a 2 minutes period.
PROGRAM QUICK KEYS
When the treadmill is in standby mode press a quick program
key to select program P1 to P6.
Use <> keys to cycle through P7-P12.
Confirm selection by pressing OK.
OPTION
When the treadmill is in standby mode, press OPTION to
choose from 3 manual target modes (time/distance/calories).
Repeatedly press OPTION for 15 times to select User Pro-
grams U1-U3.
SPEED ˄/˅
Use the ˄/˅ buttons to adjust the speed during your wor-
kout. Press once to increase or decrease by increments of
0.1kph. Press and hold for more than 2s to alter the speed
more quickly. The SPEED buttons are also used to adjust the
values when setting profiles and programs.
INCLINE ˄/˅
Use the ˄/˅ buttons to adjust the incline during your workout.
Press once to increase or decrease the incline by 1 level
at a time. Press and hold for more than 2s to alter the incline
more quickly.
SPEED/INCLINE QUICK KEYS
Use them to adjust the speed or incline with one touch during
your workout. Confirm selection by pressing ENTER.
MP3 INPUT
On the console there is an audio input for connecting your
mp3 player, allowing you to listen to the music through the
speakers. Control the volume via your device.
WORKOUT FAN
To activate the fan during long workouts.
HRC (Heart Rate Control)
Press the HRC key once or twice to select HRC1 or HRC2.
You can set a Target Heart Rate zone (THR) by defining a
lower and upper heart rate.
RESET
Press to reset the display to stand-by mode
CONSOLE FEEDBACK DISPLAY FUNCTIONS
INCLINE
Displays the incline level.
SPEED
Displays your running speed.
TIME
Toggle between running, elapsed or countdown target time.
PULSE
Displays pulse data. If no pulse signal is being received, it will
show P.
