Reduction of electrically charged hair
In addition, the appliance is equipped with an ioniser
that emits negative ions with the outflowing air when it is
switched on. This process supports the gentle drying of the
hair, at the same time it promotes the improvement of the
hair structure, the attainment of more volume, a silky shine
and additionally reduces the static charge of the hair.
This process is particularly gentle on damaged hair.
1. Slide the switch ( ) to position I, to switch on the func-
tion. The control lamp lights up green.
2. To switch off the function, set the switch to 0.
WARNING:
• Always unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. It could
cause an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.
• Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without any addi-
tives.
Air Intake Grille
Clean the grille on the air intake side of the hair dryer regu-
larly to avoid excess temperatures caused by heat build-up.
1. Turn the air intake grille counterclockwise and remove it.
2. Remove any impurities that are present.
3. If necessary, use a fine brush.
4. Turn the grille clockwise again and tighten it.

Switching Off
1. After use, slide the right-hand switch ( ) to position 0.
2. Then pull the mains plug out of the socket.
• Let the appliance cool down before putting it away!
• Hang the appliance on the suspension eye.
Mains Cable
• Wind the mains cable loosely.
• Do not tie it tightly around the appliance, this can cause
the cable to break in the long run.
• Check the mains cable regularly for damage.
