Replacement of saw blade
Observe the following safety hints before replacing your saw blade:
WARNING – Before replacing the saw blade, imperatively disconnect the air hoses
and press the valve lever once for releasing the pressure in the motor.
Follow the safety instructions for prevention of accessory hazards.
Removing the saw blade
Turn tapered handle 7 (see fig. 6) in clockwise direction to reduce the saw blade tension.
Then unlock the protected link lock 5 and open the cover. Take the saw blade from the drive
pulleys 13 and then remove it from the saw blade guides14.
Clean the saw blade guide and the pulley tire from saw residues before mounting a new saw
blade (see fig.7).
Mounting of saw blade
Check easy running of the guide bearings before mounting the saw blade. First ensure that
the teeth of the saw blade point to the correct direction (see fig.8).
Continue by laying the blade first in the guide and then over the drive pulleys. Put tapered
handle anticlockwisely into the original position.
Shut the cover, connect air hoses and run the saw shortly two to three times, to ensure the
setting of the blade. If the saw blade does not run on the pulley tires, adjust it with the thread
bolt 6 (see fig. 6).
