▪ Check that the safety devices are in perfect condition
and function correctly. Never use the power tool if
the safety devices are missing, inhibited, damaged or
worn out;

the power cord. If the ON/OFF switch is damaged or
doesn't allow to control the multi-tool's operation, it
must be repaired or replaced in order to prevent an
unintentional start;
Make all necessary adjustments and work for the

While operating
Keep other people away from the workspace.
Never use the power tool if animals or people,
particularly children, are nearby.
Keep the workspace clean, organized and well
illuminated (luminosity from 250 to 300 lux), in order to
reduce the risk of accidents.
Always wear personal protective equipment. Using
protection glasses, anti-dust mask, protection mask, slip
safety footwear, long-sleeved clothing, gloves and
helmet under proper conditions, reduces the risk of
injury.
The clothing worn while operating the power tool must
be appropriate and tight, such as a work boiler suit. Do
not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing
and gloves away from the moving parts.
The control and safety devices installed in the power
tool must not be removed or inhibited.
To avoid the risk of accidents, the following precautions
must be considered:
▪
The rotating accessories' rated speed shall be, at least,
equal to the maximum speed indicated in the technical
specifications of the multi-tool;
▪
When using the power tool, place yourself in a stable
position and well balanced. Hold the equipment firmly
with both hands to ensure a continuous operation and
to withstand unexpected situations, such as a backlash;
▪
The backlash is a sudden reaction that happens when
the machine is switched on and the rotating accessory
gets stuck or is pressed. The backlash causes an
instantly reversing movement of the equipment;

▪
The backlash occurs due to an incorrect use of the
power tool or due to a not proper working procedure
which can cause serious injuries to the user. To avoid
the backlash, the following precautions must be
considered:

position and well tightened;
- Do not place yourself in the area where the power
tool will move in case of a backlash;
▪ Never place your hands near the rotating accessory
once it may revert over them. Keep your hands away
from the rotating accessories;
▪ When the rotating accessory gets stuck, switch off
the power tool.
▪
To avoid displacements or projections use a fixing
tool or a bench vice to ensure a safe performance.
Place/maintain the object in a correct and stable
position;
▪
Never put down the equipment before the rotating
accessory is completely stopped. The rotating
accessory may touch the surface, making you lose the
control over the multi-tool;
▪
Make sure that the ventilation grids are not blocked
while operating the multi-tool. Do not place any
objects over the grids;
▪
Accessories and the tool may become too hot during
operation. Avoid touching them, they can cause
burns;
▪

circuits, gas and water pipes when operating the
equipment. Any of these damages may cause fires,
explosions, electrical shocks or several expensive
losses;
▪
Avoid using the multi-tool on surfaces coated with
paints containing lead or other materials harmful to
health. Any contact or inhalation of dust may cause
allergic reactions and / or breathing diseases. Wear a
mask and work with a dust extraction device if the
machine allows it;
