Read through the instructions before work is begun.
Check that all parts are included in the package.
Items in illustrations in the instructions may differ from the model
being worked on. The illustrations are used for different instruc-
tions and may therefore vary between engine models. The es-
sential information is correct.
This kit contains:

Installation instructions
NOTICE! "NMEA 2000 Gateway" and "NMEA 0183 Inter-
face" cannot be connected to a system at the same time
(on a synchronous bus).
Installation
• Installation with MDI (Fig. 1.)
Connect the NMEA2000 gateway to the MDI
according to figure.
• Installation with EVC-B2 (Fig. 2)
Connect the NMEA2000 gateway to the HCU
according to figure.
• Installation EVC-C/C2/C3 (Fig. 3. )
Connect the NMEA2000 gateway to the HCU
according to figure.
• Installation with EVC-D and EVC-E/E2/E3 (Fig. 4)
Connect NMEA gateway to the multilink hub
according to figure.

Constant lit -
The unit is powered up.
Diagnostic LED
Constant lit -
The unit is powered up but receives no communication
from any side.
Flashes on off repeatedly -
The unit is receiving and transmitting valid NMEA and
MULTILINK data.
Flashes 2 strobes and then off repeatedly -
The unit is receiving MULTILINK data but has no NMEA
connection
Flashes 3 strobes and then off repeatedly -
The unit is receiving NMEA data but has no MULTILINK-
connection.
