sensory and intellectual functions. Place the unit in such a way that the mains plug
can be reached at any time. Ensure that the power supply to the unit corresponds
to that specified on the identification plate!
ASSEMBLY OF THE UNIT
CAUTION! All round glassware joints should be lubricated with sealing grease
before connecting.
Model SBS-RV-5000
1) Position the base (16) with the rack (15) next to the water bath (7).
2) Install the motor (5) to the rightmost tube of the rack (15) (closest to the
water bath). To install the motor to the rack, insert the motor pin into the
mounting hole. Position the motor so that it is facing the water bath at a
height of approximately 40 cm and tilted 25° from horizontal. Tighten the
clamping screw to secure the connection.
3) Mount the speed controller (2) to the end of the right rack tube (15), secure
the connection with the clamp screw. Plug the 5-pin control cable connector
routed from the motor (5) into the controller's lower socket.
4) Connect the right cooler connector (1) to the motor connector (5) and
tighten the lock nut. Secure the position of the cooler (1) with a clamp (3)
attached to the left rack tube (15).
5) Insert the fill valve (10) into the flexible tube and place the connected parts
into the left cooler connector (1).
6) Connect the receiving flask (12) to the lower radiator connector (1) and
secure the connection with the clip (11), then tighten the clip screw.
7) Attach the round support (13) to the lower bracket of the left rack tube (15)
so that it holds the receiving flask (12) in place. Secure the connection by
tightening the clamping screw.
8) Install the rotary flask (6) to the motor connector (5) and tighten the locking
collar.
9) Place the water bath (7) under the rotary flask (6). Pour clean water into the
bowl of the water bath. The water level should not exceed 2/3 of the bowl
height.
10) Connect the vacuum hose to the upper vacuum gauge connection (4), then
connect the vacuum pump or laboratory vacuum switch to the lower vacuum
gauge connection.
