3.3.
Working with the unit
The evaporation process should be as follows:
1. Make sure that an adequate amount of water has been poured into the bath
bowl (7), then connect the unit to the power supply (by performing these steps
in the order given, you reduce the risk of electrical shock).
Start the water bath and set the appropriate heating temperature using the
controller (9).
2. Start the vacuum pump.
3. Close the filling valve (10).
4. Start rotation of the flask (6):
a) make sure that the speed controller (2) is connected to the power supply
b) Switch the speed controller (2) on at the ON/OFF switch (C)
c) set the selected speed using the adjustment knob (B)
Caution: Avoid rocking, vibrating or shaking the water bath and motor during
operation
5. Make sure the water bath (7) has reached the proper temperature and raise
the water bowl to the proper level using the knob (8).
