Noise attenuation value (NRR) 24 dB
The sound pressure level corresponds roughly to the difference between the A-
rated sound pressure level and the attenuator value. The sound pressure level
that enters the ear of a person when the earmuffs are worn in the prescribed
way applies.
Example:
The sound pressure level measured at the ear is 92 dB(A). The sound
attenuation value (NRR) is 24 dB(A). The sound pressure level penetrating the
ear is 68 dB(A).
CAUTION
For environments where there is noise with frequencies around 500 Hz, the C-
rated sound pressure level should be used.
