Carefully guide the saw along the rip board guide to achieve a straight rip cut (Fig. 13).

When the cut is made, release the trigger switch. Wait for the cut-off wheel to come to a
complete stop before removing the saw from the workpiece.
14. Installing and Using the Edge Guide (not
included)
Always use an edge guide (not included) when
making long or wide rip cuts with your tile saw.
a. Detach the battery pack.
b. Position the edge guide so that the arm with
the ruler side is facing up. Slide the arm of the
edge guide through the mounting slots at the
front of the saw base.
c.
Adjust the edge guide to the desired width of
cut.
d. Tighten the edge guide locking knob (included
with the edge guide).
NOTE: This tool can only use an edge guide with arm width no more than 1/2" (12mm).
