The coarse strainer as well as the
strainer cup must only be cleaned with
potable water, without any added
cleaning agents. In doing so, the
following maintenance instructions
must be observed.
Recommendation
Suspended particles such as lime, rust, sand,
etc., can get into the domestic water distribution
system via the water service line as a
result of repair and rehabilitation work on
the public water main system.
In order to protect the pressure-reducing valve
JRGURED LF as well as the complete domestic
water supply system from such contaminants,
we recommend the installation of a fine
strainer with a filtering capacity of 100 micron
ahead of the pressure-reducing valve.

Notes
Repairs to the pressure-reducing valve
JRGURED LF must not be attempted.
Any changes to the pressure setting
must be carried out exclusively by
a qualified plumber in accordance
with the operating instructions.
The maintenance instructions must
be complied with for the maintaining
of the coarse strainer.
The operating and the maintenance instructions
shall be given to the building owner when the
installation is handed over.
