Resetting the pressure-reducing valve
Any change of the factory pressure
setting is carried out exclusively on
the responsibility of the person doing
so.
The pressure setting of the pressure-reducing
valve can be changed as follows:
Relieve the pressure in the pressure-reducing
valve by opening an outlet 16 (approx. 1/4 gal./
min). The plug 19 must be removed first with
an Allen key size 6 mm before the pressure
adjustment can be made. By turning the key
clockwise, the outlet pressure is increased, by
turning it counter clockwise, decreased.
One full rotation of the key through 360 deg.
corresponds to a pressure change of:
Pressure-reducing valve DN 1/2
Pressure-reducing valve DN 3/4 -2 1/2
Close outlet 16 after pressure change.
The pressure setting has to be checked
with a pressure gauge at steady-state
pressure (no water consumption).
Attention must be paid, that the
pressure setting corresponds to the
regulations of the local water utility.
Maintenance
Repairs to the pressure-reducing valve
JRGURED LF must not be attempted.
