Dress properly - Do not wear loose clothes or
jewelry as they may be caught by the movable
parts of the equipment. It is recommended to
wear goggles, gloves and shoes when working
outdoors.
Note:
According to the Brazilian standard
NBR 5410, it is compulsory to install a device to
protect against residual defferential current (DR
device) with tripping current not greater than
30 mA in the electrical installation. The function
of the "DR" is to protect the user against serious
electrical shock risk (consult an electrician).
Use the equipment properly - Only use the
equipment as described in these instructions
and for the functions specified.
Take care of your electrical extension and/or
power cable - Always keep the extension away
from the cutting area, heat and sharp edges.
Inspect it often. If the power cable or extension
were damaged during use, disconnect it from
the power supply immediately.Do not use the
equipment with a damaged extension cord.
Do not force the lawn mower/trimmer.
Turn the motor on when your hands and feet
are away from the cutting means only.
Be alert - Pay attention to what is going on
around you.
Never transport the lawn mower/trimmer by
the extension cord.
Keep the lawn mower/trimmer in good
working conditions - When not being used,
keep the equipment in a dry place, protected
from bad weather and out of the reach of
children.
Never use a water jet to clean the lawn mower/
trimmer; clean them with a sponge or cloth
soaked in mild detergent.
Keep safety devices at proper places and in
working conditions.
If the lawn mower hits/cuts a foreign object,
immediately turn it off and unplug the power
cable from the supply, check the lawn
mower/trimmer for damage, and fix it before
reconnecting to avoid any risk of injury.
According
to
"maintenance must only be carried out by
qualified, skilled professionals or authorized
to do so". Always call TRAPP Authorized
Service Technicians. TRAPP is not responsible
for occasional accidents caused by the use of
spare parts that are not original.
To reduce the risk of accidents - Frequently
inspect the lawn mower/trimmer. If there are
traces of wear out or deterioration, provide the
substitution of parts.Do not use the equipment
with damaged guards.
Beware of injuries to your feet and hands
caused by the cutting means.
Always make sure vents are clear of debris.
Attention!
If the power supply cord is damaged, it shall
be replaced by the TRAPP Assistance Shopp (or
dealer) in order to avoid the risk of accidents.
Before starting the equipment, keep your feet
and hands away from cutting parts.
Unplug
the
equipment
move away from it, perform maintenance
or cleaning, or if the machine is vibrating
excessively.
