Assembly instructions and
user manual
Carefully read through the
complete assembly instruc-
tions and user manual, particu-
larly the safety instructions. Failure to
heed these safety instructions may result
in severe injury or damage to the base.
Store the assembly instructions and user
manual for future reference and always
include them when passing the base on
to third parties.
Your safety
Please observe the following
safety instructions. The manu-
facturer is not liable for dam-
age as the result of failure to
comply.
The base is not a children's toy. Children
could crush their fingers or feet.
Never leave the base unattended – if the
shade falls over, it can cause serious in-
juries.
Keep in mind that, depending on wind in-
tensity and diameter of the sun shade,
this base may also be too "light".
Make sure that the sun shade is closed in
the event of wind.
It is imperative that you observe the na-
tional regulations in force in your country
which also apply in addition to the regu-
lations in these assembly instructions and
user manual.

Intended use
The base is suitable for a max. ballast of
200 kg.
The base is not suitable for commercial
use.
Assembling the base
Please note!
– The base is very heavy. Therefore,
it is imperative that you have another
person help you during the assembly!
In addition to the package contents,
you will need:
– granite plates that meet the require-
ments of the shade manufacturer.
– the assistance of another person.
1. Attach the castors 1 provided to the
base with the screws 2, washers 3 and
nuts 4 (see Fig. A).
2. Place in granite plates that meet the
requirements of the shade manufac-
turer (see Fig. B).
3. Insert the levelling plates to compen-
sate for the gap between the plates
and the cover (see Fig. B).
4. Place the carrying strap around the
bottom plate in order to make it easier
to lift the plate lying on top of it out of
the frame stand (see Fig. C).
5. Place the cover plate 5 on top of the
base (see Fig. D).
Changing the location
1. Release the locking levers on the four
rollers.
2. Push the base to a new location.
3. Lock the locking levers again once in
the new location (see Fig. E).
