4. Close the wall bracket cover (D) again.
5. Pivot Thermologika to point towards the area to be
heated. (Maximum angle from the vertical is
approximately 20°.) Take care not to point the
radiating elements directly at walls, curtains, or
other flammable objects or materials. Tighten the
pivot locking screws (C) (fig. 4).
6. On completion of all installation and electrical
connection work, carefully remove all the
packaging from around the quartz lamps. Take
care not to touch the lamps with your hands to
avoid forming white stains on them.
7. REMOTE CONTROL:
If you want to control Thermologika via an external
switch of suitable capacity, you are recommended to:
a. set the operating power with the cord switch;
b. remove the cord;
c. install the appliance on the relevant wall and
connect it electrically.
Thermologika is now ready for use.
Operation
Pull on the pull-cord at the right of the appliance to
switch Thermologika on. This switch also selects the
heating power as follows:
Position "0": OFF
Position "1": 600 W
Position "2": 1,200 W
Position "3": 1,800 W
The status of the appliance and the current power
setting are shown in the window over the switch.
NB
When Thermologika is switched on, a slight buzzing
is sometimes produced by the quartz lamps. This is
normal and disappears after a few seconds. This in
no way affects the duration or performance of the
appliance.
Maintenance
Thermologika does not require any special
maintenance. Whenever necessary, wipe off any dust
from the outside with a soft dry cloth. Slightly damp
the cloth with water and neutral detergent to remove
stubborn dirt. Take special care under these
circumstances to avoid all contact with the quartz
lamps.
NB
Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply
before performing any maintenance.
