ASSEMBLING THE LINER
5.1 Insert the liner properly into the helmet and have it well fitted against the base.
5.2 Insert the liner left front tab into the corresponding housing on the support fixed to
the polystyrene inner shell and push it downwards until it is completely fastened.
Then follow the operation with central and right tabs (Fig.22).
Warning: check the correct assembly of the liner front area by lifting and lowering
the VPS, that should be able to move freely. If not, repeat the operations 4.4, and
5.2.
5.3 Fasten the two side buttons on the back of the comfort padding rear part to the
their corresponding housings on the rear support fixed to the polystyrene inner
shell (Fig.21).
5.4 Insert the liner adjustment tab into the rear cavity between the outer shell and the
polystyrene inner shell.
5.5 Insert the liner rear right and left tabs into their corresponding housings of the shell
edge (Fig.20). Push the tabs until they are fully fastened onto the support.

ASSEMBLING THE CHIN STRAP COVERING
The right and left chin strap covering are different from each other (Fig.19B).
6.1 After identifying the left covering strap, insert the chin strap release mechanism
inside of it at the free end of the "hook and loop fastener" until it comes completely
out from the central slot. Press the strap free end over the chin strap band at the
"hook and loop fastener" and pull the strap to stretch it completely (Fig.19A).
6.2 Follow these operations with the right strap covering.
6.3 Check that the straps are secured by gently pulling them towards the inside of the
helmet.
6.4 If the release mechanism is the D-Ring type, check that the anti-fluttering snap
button on the left strap only is correctly placed past the two "D-rings" (Fig.19B).

ASSEMBLING THE INNER EXPANDING FOAM PADDING OF THE CHEEK PADS
7.1 Gently insert the inner expanding foam padding inside the left cheek pad fabric lin-
ing (Fig.17). Carefully stretch the padding while checking that there are no creases
in the cheek pad fabric lining.
7.2 Follow these operations with the right cheek pad padding.

Warning: take the padding of the left cheek pad and make sure that the rear snap
button "D", the front and top snap buttons "C", the hook "A" and the NERS safety
lever "B" are correctly fastened to the rear frame of the fabric lining of the cheek
pad (Fig.18). Furthermore, check that the NERS lever is free to turn; then, place the
lever in the opening position.
8.1 Insert the rear tab of the comfort padding of the left cheek pad into the cavity
between the rear trim and the polystyrene inner shell (Fig.16).
8.2 Insert the chin strap into the cavity in the cheek pad and press near the rear snap
button located at its rear to fasten it to the corresponding housing on the polysty-
rene cheek pad (Fig.15).
