Likely cause and solution
1. The lowering bolt is not tight.
- Turn the lowering bolt to the right until tightened.
2. There is air in the jack: Bleed
the jack (see corresponding section)
3. The oil level is too low.
- Arrange for the jack to be inspected by a
technician. When filling oil, the properties of the
hydraulic fluid and the fill levels must be observed.
4. See number 1 above.
5. The hydraulic system is clogged with dirt.
Loosen the oil drain valve and press the
pump rod a few times from the vertical
to the horizontal position. Bleed the jack.
If the issue persists, consult a technician.
6. See 2 and 3 above.
7. See number 5 above.
8. The return spring is worn out or loose.
- Lubricate all moving parts of the lifting
device on a regular basis and clean or replace
the return spring.
Release the pressure by loosening the valve with
the supplied handle. If it is not possible to loosen the
valve with the handle, use a wrench (not included).
If the jack cannot be lowered, tighten the valve and
move the jack up and down (pump) to complete an
additional 10 pumping movements. Then try to lower
the pressure again by loosening the valve. Warning:
Avoid loosening the valve after more than three
consecutive cycles. If the aforementioned measures
are ineffective, use other approved lifting devices to
lift the load. Remove the defective jack and consult a
qualified workshop.
