Understanding Platinum Series Sound Processor LEDs
The LED (Light-Emitting Diode) indicator is a light located on the control
panel adjacent to the headpiece jack that indicates three primary
functions: battery charge status, lock status, and microphone/system
status. Depending on the function, the LED will illuminate with either a
red or a green light.
Battery Charge Status
When the processor program control is turned from the off position (o) to
positions •, , or
• 3-4 quick blinks indicate that the battery is fully charged.
• 2 quick blinks indicate that the battery is sufficiently charged to power
the system.
• 1 quick blink indicates that the battery charge is nearly depleted.
