Connect to Wi-Fi
The easiest way to connect your Beosound A5 to Wi-Fi
is via the Bang & Olufsen app. Simply download the app
and follow the instructions on screen. You'll be set up in a
matter of minutes.
If you don't wish to use the app, you can still connect via
the Wi-Fi settings on your device (if you're on iPhone or
iPad) or via the Google Home app.
Playing your content
Start playing from the source of your choice and select
Beosound A5 as the speaker to listen on. The following
streaming features are available when connected to Wi-Fi:
- AirPlay 2
- Chromecast built-in
- Spotify Connect
- Tidal Connect
- QPlay
- DLNA
- Deezer (via the Bang & Olufsen app)
- B&O Radio (via the Bang & Olufsen app)
On Wi-Fi, you can enjoy the highest sound quality without
interruptions – even if you get a call or your device
disconnects. You can also connect several speakers
in a multiroom experience (see "Multiroom" for more
information).
Additionally, you can stream via Bluetooth. See
