Problem
There is loss of power.

Cause
The product is operated at too high
forward or rearward speed when you
cut grass.
The throttle control is in the choke
position.
There is buildup of grass, leaves or
unwanted material below the cutting
deck.
The air filter is dirty.
The engine oil level is too low.
The engine oil is dirty.
The spark plug is defective.
The fuel filter is dirty.
The fuel in the fuel tank is bad.
There is water in the fuel.
The spark plug cap is loose.
The air intake or the cooling fins on
the engine are blocked.
The muffler is clogged or damaged.
There is loose or damaged wiring.
The engine valves are not adjusted
correctly.
The blades are loose.
One or more of the blades are dam-
aged or not balanced.
The engine is loose.
The main fuse is defective.
The battery is defective.
The charging cable is disconnected.
The connection at the cable connec-
tors on the battery terminals is bad.
The operator presence control (OPC)
is defective.
Action
Use slower speed.
Put the throttle control in the full
throttle position.
Clean the cutting deck.
Clean or replace the air filter.
Do a check of the engine oil level. Fill
with engine oil if it is necessary.
Replace the engine oil.
Replace the spark plug.
Replace the fuel filter.
Replace the fuel in the fuel tank.
Remove all fuel from the fuel tank
and the carburetor. Fill the fuel tank
with new fuel and replace the fuel fil-
ter.
Connect and tighten the spark plug
cap.
Clean the air intake and the cooling
fins on the engine.
Clean or replace the muffler.
Do a check of all wiring.
Speak to an approved service agent.
Tighten the bolts on the blades.
Balance the blades or replace the
blades.
Tighten the engine bolts.
Replace the main fuse.
Replace the battery.
Connect the charging cable.
Do a check of the battery connec-
tions.
Do a check of the wires, switches
and connections. If not corrected,
speak to an approved service agent.
Do not operate product with a defec-
tive operator presence control.
