Preparation
Placement of nozzles
CAUTION
• Wait until the air outlet cools down
completely before inserting or changing a nozzle.
• The nozzle are pressed onto the nozzle connector until
they meet the backing of the air outlet tube.
Nozzle
• The different nozzles concentrate and distribute the heat
differently depending on their shape and the task to be
performed.
Caulking sheets assembly
• Unscrew the nut at the end of the handle for caulking sheets.
• Select the appropriate sheet for your job.
• Place the selected sheet at the end where you removed the nut
and match the edges of the backing on the handle against the
sheet's fastening hole.
• Place and tighten the nut.
Start Up
• The heat gun is useful to solder plastics (joining, patching, tarmac vulcanizing, etc.), to remove decals and adhesives, to
loosen oxidized or tight metal nuts, to soften old filler in order to remove and substitute with new material, to remove paint,
to defreeze metal pipes, to apply anti-assault film in autos windshields, to dry paint, varnish, wet wood, etc., to fix shrinking
PVC film, to fix dents in auto's fascias, to remove covering in adhesives, flooring, etc.
On/Off
• To turn the tool on, set the slide switch on/off to 1/2 position.
Some smoke may come out after starting; this does not
necessarily indicate a problem.
• To turn the tool off, turn the switch to position 0. Allow the
tool to cool down before moving or storing it.
