14. AMPUTEE HARNESS IN CANVAS FABRIC
IM150 (available sizes M-L)
The IM150 harness is used for lifting patients who have had one or both of their legs amputated.
It is important for the user to have good neck control. The harness is manufactured in a 100%
polyester fabric called Slipstex, which is highly resistant, slip-proof, tear-proof and breathable.
A sturdy twill fabric belt (100% polyester) is stitched around the edge of the harness and
forms a loop with various attachment points to ensure it remains symmetrical during lifting.
The belt is continuous and stitched around the entire edge of the harness to make it stronger.
There are two guide rings to ensure correct positioning of the leg supports. The stitching is in
highly resistant polyester thread. Soft padding provides comfortable support for both the back
and thighs.
