FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove bumper. Saw out a section from the middle and under- side of
the bumper as shown in figure 1. Screw ball part A with screw
M12x70/26.2, including underplates and safety nut between plate B.
Attach angle sections K "corresponding with the sketch" to the ball hitch
using a M12x60 bolt including flat washer and self-locking nuts. Attach
part C with two screws M10x35 including underplates and safety nuts as
in Sketch to ball part A.
2. Drill four holes of 12mm in the back wall. For this there are center pun-
ches already present, which coincide with points D and E. Enlarge these
holes only in the back wall to 23mm. In the ground plate drill three holes
12mm. For these there are also center punches present, coinciding with
point F.
3. At points D and E attach distance tubes as in Sketch to the back wall.
Place reinforcement G against back wall and screw together with the
part assembled under #1 above. At point D D assemble two screws
M10x120 and at E, two screws M10x120, along with underplates and
safety nuts onto reinforcement plate G. Attach trunk linings H with wel-
ded screws onto flange trunk floor and onto reinforcement plate G.
Replace parts which had been removed.

NOTE:
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting points.
* All bolts are quality 8.8 - nuts 8. or when mentioned in fitting instructions
10.9 / 10.
* Don't forget the spring- and plain washers.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball
hitch pressure of your vehicle.
* It is recommendable to retighten all fixing bolts and nuts after the towbar
has been in use for some 1000 km/600 miles.
* Do not drill through brake-or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
Torque settings for nuts and bolts (8.8):
