Iron Pipe Installation
Install threaded pipe nipple (1) to extend past
finished wall (2) according to dimension shown
and apply plumbers tape to threads. Install spout
and hand tighten firmly against wall.

Thread On Adapter Installation
Install threaded pipe nipple (1) to extend past finished wall (2) according to dimension shown and apply
plumbers tape to threads. Hand install adapter (3) onto pipe nipple (1) and tighten using standard pipe
wrench, DO NOT DAMAGE O-RINGS (4). Temporarily install set screw (5) to bottom of spout making sure
it does not extend into spout where it will interfere with assembly. Slide spout over adapter (3) and hold firm
against wall (2) and tighten set screw (5).
NOTE: Some models utilize a pull down diverter mechanism. To divert from spout to shower pull
down on spout tip (6).

Slip-On Adapter Installation
Copper tube (1) to extend past finished wall (2)
according to dimension shown. IMPORTANT: End
of the copper tube must be chamfered free
of burrs to prevent o-ring damage inside the
adapter (3). Slide adapter (3) over copper tube
(1) and tighten set screw (4), do not over tighten.
Install spout and hand tighten firmly against wall.
