9. TRANSPORT
Before transporting this machine, disconnect
always the battery of the machine.
Hold the machine by the front handle with the
machine disconnected and away from body parts.
When transporting or storing the machine, always
cover the cutting tool with the protector. Proper
handling will reduce the likelihood of accidental
contact with the cutting tool.
If you are going to transport the machine in a vehicle,
secure it firmly to prevent it from sliding or tipping
over.
10. STORAGE
Store this tool in a place not accessible to children
and safe so that it does not endanger any person, in
a safe, dry, clean place and at a temperature between
5º C and 40º C.
Always store the chainsaw with the sword covered
with its protective cap.
Unplug the battery from the machine before storing
it and, to prevent damage to the battery, always
charge it to the maximum. If you are not going to use
the machine for a long period of time, recharge the
battery every 30 days. Never store the discharged
battery.
Store batteries away from metal materials such
as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other
small metal materials that may accidentally make
connections between the terminals and short out.
Short-circuiting the battery can cause the battery
to explode or burn. The battery will discharge more
slowly at low temperatures.
Always store the machine with the protection of the
cutting element installed.
Before storing the machine, follow the points in the
maintenance chapter.
The machine out of use should be stored clean, on a
flat surface.
11. RECYCLING AND MACHINE
