WARNING! Never leave your baby unattended in the car seat when placing it on
elevated surfaces (table, nappy changing unit, etc). WARNING! Never allow the
strap end to become caught in moving parts (automatic doors, escalators, etc).
WARNING! The plastic parts of the car seat heat up in the sun, so that your baby
may get burnt. Protect your baby and the car seat against intensive solar
radiation. WARNING! Take your baby out of the car seat as often as possible to
relieve its spine. We recommend frequent breaks during long journeys. Even
outside of the car, please avoid leaving your baby in the car seat for too long.
WARNING! Some vehicle seat covers of sensitive materials (velour, leather, etc)
may develop wear marks when child seats are used. This can be avoided by
placing a blanket or towel under the child seat.
1. Identify the components of the car seat
before using it. Look carefully the page
number 1.
Use in a vehicle
3a. Do not use with 2-point belt. Please
install with the 3-point belt. Please observe
the regulations applicable to your country.
3b. If installing in front passenger seat you
must turn off airbag. Passenger seat may be
on opposite side depending on country
legislation/law.
3c. A-YES – in the direction of travel.
B-NO – against the direction of travel.
C-NO – with 2-point belt.
D-YES – with 3-point belt.
E-YES – with the ISOFIX and top tether
anchoring systems. In there is a front airbag:
slide the passenger seat a long way back and
refer to any instructions in vehicle owner's
manual.
F-YES – on front passenger seat. Do not use
on passenger seats with a front airbag. The
front passenger seat may be used with or
without ISOFIX, with the same notes as
currently given for the ISOFIX (slide the seat
back and refer to vehicle instructions.)
G-YES – on outer rear seat.
H-YES – on centre rear seat. Can be used if
the vehicle seat is equipped with a 3-point
belt.
Securing your baby
4a. Please use the baby insert attached to
this car seat when your baby's weight is less
than 6kg. The baby insert is used to provide
extra comfort for very small babies, and it
gives your baby the necessary support while
he or she is still small.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
4b. Loosen the harness straps by pressing
the release button and pulling the harness
straps as far as you can. Note: do not pull the
shoulder pads.
4c. There are seven adjustable headrest
position, pull the headrest adjust button
upwards, move the headrest to the correct
shoulder strap height and check that is
properly engaged by lightly sliding the head
rest downwards.
4d. The seat can be reclined into multiple
different positions. You can change the
reclined position while the child is installed in
the car seat. Changing recline position gives
your child optimal comfort for sleeping. For
children from 0-6 kg, use the seat in its most
reclined position with the infant insert to
ensure your child's spine is supported whilst
sleeping. To change position press the
recline button and push or pull the seat into
the desired position.
4e-4f. Open the harness buckle, put the
baby into the car seat.
4g. Have your child sit on the seat to ensure
the lap belt restrict the position of pelvis.
Please check the shoulder height,the
shoulder belts are required to place a little
bit higher or too low may reduce the safety
of the children's restraining system.
4h. Please choose the slot which is closest
baby shoulder,then pass through the belt.
4i. The correct height of the shoulder belts is
attained when the belt disappears into the
shell slightly above the shoulder of the child.
Make sure that the harness straps fit
properly over the shoulders of the child.
4j. Slide buckle tongues together and insert
them in the buckle with an audible sound
"click".
