Operating instructions
Installation
• The control head connections are labeled IN (inlet) and OUT
(outlet), looking from the front of the control head IN (inlet)
is on the right and OUT (outlet) on the left. Insert/tighten the
supplied gaskets and fittings into the control head connec-
tions. It is important that the connector on which there is a
place for the water flow sensor (on the cable at the head)
should be screwed into the "OUT" connection of the control
head.
• Connect the softener to the installation using flexible hoses.
Install a mechanical filter before the softener, min. 50 mi-
crons to protect it from contamination. By-pass can be made
with ordinary valves, as in Fig. 3.
• There should be a turbine in the screwed-in threaded fitting
at the "OUT" connection of the control head. Before start-
ing the installation, check if the turbine rotates freely (e.g. by
blowing strongly into the water outlet).
• For installation of the device, use materials intended for
water installations. In case of problems or doubts, contact a
qualified installer or authorized service company.
• The overflow elbow protruding from the softener housing
should be connected to the sewage system in the same way
