Specific conditions for safe use
This equipment shall be installed in an enclosure with an ingress protection of at least IP54 in
•
accordance with EN 60079-0 and EN 60529. The installation shall also ensure Pollution
Degree 2 (as defined in EN 60664-1) inside the enclosure. All circuits must be limited to
Overvoltage category I or II.
•
Transient protection shall be provided that is set at a level not exceeding 140% of the peak
rated voltage value at all supply terminals to the equipment, or at most set at 119 V.
•
The earth connection of the mounting rail shall be connected to the local equipotential
bonding system according to the applicable installation standard.
