ASSEMBLING AND USING THE PRODUCT
1. WARNING: Do not use the CoZee XL when the child can sit or kneel or pull itself up.
2. WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death.
Always follow assembly instructions for each product use mode (bedside sleeper & crib).
3. Warning: Entrapment hazard – to prevent death from entrapment, bedside sleeper should be
properly secured to adult bed using the attachment straps.
a) Check tightness before each use by pulling bedside sleeper in a direction away from
adult bed.
b) If there is a gap between bedside sleeper and adult bed DO NOT use product. Gaps
should not be filled with pillows, blankets or other items which are suffocation hazards.
4. WARNING: Always use ALL required parts for each use mode. Check instruction manual for a list
of required parts. Periodically check product for loose, damaged, or missing parts.
5. To avoid death from the infants neck being caught on the top rail of the side that is next to the
adult bed, the top rail must be no higher than the adult mattress. ALWAYS raise the side when not
fastened to the adult bed. Bedside sleepers should never be used in an inclined position.
6. WARNING: The 2 attachment straps must always be used in bedside sleeper mode

8. WARNING: The maximum mattress thickness should be no higher than the line marked on the
inside of the crib
9. WARNING: The CoZee XL should be placed on a horizontal floor; Young children should
not be allowed to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the CoZee XL.
10. WARNING: Always read and follow assembly instructions for each product use mode (bedside
sleeper & crib). Assemble product according to manufacturer's instructions for ANY use mode
bedside sleeper as well as the crib modes.
11. WARNING: DO NOT use the CoZee XL if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken,
torn or missing. Contact Tutti Bambini for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed.
DO NOT substitute parts.
12. WARNING: Be aware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric
bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the CoZee XL.
13. WARNING: Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child's
neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a crib or attach strings
to toys.
14. WARNING: The CoZee XL is designed for use only with adult beds that are between
49 and 64 cm from floor to top of adult mattress. The product should not be used as a XL
outside of this guide height.
15. WARNING: The CoZee XL is designed to provide a sleeping area for an infant until he
or she begins to push up on hands and knees or approximately 5 months of age. Move your
child to another sleeping product when your child reaches this stage.
16. WARNING: The CoZee XL cannot be used with the following bed frames: folding beds,
sofa beds, guest beds, high sleeper beds, low floor beds with ledge frames, futon beds, antique
beds and water beds.

Important safety information

1. WARNING: Never leave your child unattended. The safety of your child is your responsibility.
2. WARNING: Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product, which
could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain
cords etc.
3. We recommend the use of Tutti Bambini mattress for this cot or a minimum mattress
measuring 60cms x 120cm.
4. WARNING: Do not use more than one mattress in the cot. Do not use a mattress with a depth
greater than 10cm.
5. Clean with a damp cloth, do not use abrasives or bleach.
6. If you leave the child unattended in the cot, always make sure that the dropside is returned to its
closed position.
7. WARNING: Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn, or missing and use only spare parts
approved by Tutti Bambini.
8. To prevent child injury from falls, the cot should not be used when a child can climb out from the cot
9. Excessive chewing may damage the components and cause splintering. If any part is damaged,
stop using the cot until the correct part has been replaced.
10. WARNING: Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar
fires, gas fires etc in the near vicinity of the cot.
11. All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly, and fittings should be checked regularly
and re-tightened as necessary.
12. The cot is intended for use for children from birth to approximately 18 months.
13. WARNING: Do not place this child 's bed near heat sources, windows and other furniture.
14. Children are likely to play, bounce, jump and climb on beds, therefore the child 's bed should not
be placed too close to other furniture or windows, blind cords, curtain pulls or other strings or cords,
and should be placed either tight to any wall or have a cap of 30cm between the wall and the side
of the bed.
15. When choosing a mattress, ensure that the height between the surface of the mattress to the upper
edge of the side rails is at least 50cm.
16. There should never be a gap of more than 3cm between the mattress and side or the ends of the
cot. Product development dictates that components may occasionally differ from the ones shown in
the diagrams of these instructions. The right to change the specifications and design of the furniture
without prior notice remains with the manufacture.
17. The cot is only ready for use once all locking mechanisms are engaged. Check carefully before
using the cot.
18. Only to be used with Tutti Bambini components. Not to be used with any other attachments.

one year from date of purchase This guarantee is not effective against accidental damage or damage
caused by incorrect use or neglect. This does not affect your statutory rights.
