Waste Disposal and
Environmental Protection
Remove the battery from the device and
take the device, battery, accessories and
packaging for environmentally friendly
recycling.
Machines do not belong with
domestic waste.
Do not throw batteries into dome-
stic waste, fire (risk of explosion)
or water. Damaged batteries can
harm the environment and your
health if poisonous fumes or li-
quids escape.

Return the unit to a recycling centre.
The plastics and metals in the unit
can be sorted and appropriately
recycled. Ask our Service Centre for
details.
•
Defective units returned to us will be
disposed of for free.
Guarantee
•
We guarantee this equipment for 24
months.
•
This equipment is not suitable for
commercial use.
Commercial use will invalidate the gu-
arantee.
•
The guarantee does not cover dama-
ge caused by natural wear, overloa-
ding or improper use. Certain compo-
nents are subject to normal wear and
not covered by the guarantee. These
specifically include the: metal cutting

blade, thread reel, cutting thread,
thread cutter, air filter and spark plug.
•
The guarantee is also conditional on
adherence to the instructions on clea-
ning and maintenance.
•
Damages caused by material or ma-
nufacturing defects will be corrected
free of charge by the provision of a
replacement or by repair.
This is conditional on the equipment
being returned to the dealer undis-
mantled and with proof of purchase
and guarantee.
Repair Service
•
Repairs not covered by the guarantee
can be carried out by our service cen-
tre for a fee. Our service centre will
be happy to produce a cost estimate
for you.
We can handle only equipment that is
sent in with adequate packaging and
postage payment.
•
Caution: In case of complaint or ser-
vice, please send your equipment
cleaned and with an indication of the
fault to our service address.
Equipment sent freight collect – as
bulky goods, by express or other spe-
cial freight – will not be accepted.
•
We will dispose of the defective
equipment sent to us, free of charge.
