Opening the sun shade
Ensure that the shade has been
sufficiently secured, that is, that the
shade socket has the right amount of
weight (see "Technical data").
1. Remove the tie strip and if necessary,
the protective sleeve.
2. Carefully open the shade by hand
(see Figure B).
3. Turn the crank clockwise to open the
shade as far as you like (see Figure B).
Tilting the shade
• To tilt the shade to the side, continue
to turn the crank once the shade is
completely open (see Figure C).
Closing the sun shade
Please note!
– If wind, rain or snow is expected, the
shade must be closed. Damages
occurring as a result of a failure to do
so are not covered by the warranty.
– When closing the sun shade, the cover
could get caught between the braces.
If this happens, please carefully pull
parts of the cover caught between the
braces out.
1. Turn the crank counterclockwise until
the shade is closed (see Figure D / E).
2. If the cover is caught between the
braces, carefully pull the cover out
from between the braces.
3. Secure the cover with a tie trip to
protect against wind gusts.
Pull over a protective sleeve in order
to protect against dirt and bleaching
(not included in product contents).

Care + Storage
The cover has received a stain­guard
treatment. To clean it, you should ideally
use a soft brush and a small amount of
soapy solution.
The cloth may be washed in the hand
wash at 40 °C. Do not use any dryer. Do
not iron. Do not dry­clean.
Clean the shade pole regularly to ensure
that the mobile parts slide properly. If
applicable, spray in a silicon or Teflon
glide spray.
Check all load­bearing parts such as
braces, screws etc. regularly.
Take the sun shade down when it is
completely dry and store it in a dry, well
ventilated area during the winter.
If possible, store the sun shade upright
and without any load on the sun shade.
At the start of the season, make sure that
all components and mounting parts are
safe for use. Do not use the product if
you have doubts about this issue.
Warranty
The warranty period for this product
amounts to 36 months.
If you discover a defect during this time,
please consult your vendor. Please
keep the proof of purchase and provide
him with the model name and product
number to get quick help.
The warranty does not cover the following:
– Normal wear and tear, changes to the
colour of the textile upholstery.
– Damages to the varnish that are
attributed to normal wear and tear.
– Damages caused by improper use
(e.g. as protection against rain).
– Damages caused by wind, over­
winding the crank, the shade tipping
over, pulling the shade braces too
hard.
– Damages due to structural changes to
the product.
